Hilux buy back deal

Hi,

as I've said in other threads we are looking to spend around four months in Southern Africa from july (ish).

I have begun researching a bit more lately, and at the moment a pre booked buy back deal seems quite interesting. It will allow us to land i CT, spend a bit of time exploring it, and the simply pick up an equipped hilux from 03 and go!

It will cost about 12k rand including AA and insurance. This is not excactly cheap, but if you compare it to the potential loss we'd have to cover on a similar vehicle, the time we have to spend finding, buying and equipping it, I don't think it is so bad.

So what I'd like to ask you is, have you heard good or bad stuff about these deals?
