You can now upload photographs as an attachment. When you reply or post a new post, look below this text block is an "Upload Attachment" tab, click that tab. Select the file on your hard drive and then upload it.

After you uploaded the file you click the "place inline" button to add it to your text. The image will be displayed as a thumbnail in the post. If you go to your "user control panel" (see link just below header image) you will see there is a "manage attachments" function. This is where you will find all your uploaded images.

If the system do not want to load your image it is most probably to big.

Keep your resolution to 800x600 jpg images and it should work fine.

Yep, hier by die Vaal Rivier op Orkney. Die boot is nuut, my ou boot is heel 'uitgewear', en nadat ek soveel gespandeer op dit vir reperasies, het ek besluit "enuff is enuff"!

Watter image editor gebruik jy? Ek sien jou file size 193K vir so 'n klein prentjie is nogal baie. Vir internet gebruik kan dit met jpeg compression baie kleiner kry voordat jy visuele kwaliteit inboet, wat jou upload tyd en almal wat dit download se spoed vinniger maak ook.

Onthou die prentjie wat jy sien is net die tumbnail, as jy op die prentjie kliek sal jy die ware jakob sien.
Onthou vir internet gebruik kan jou resolusie net 72 dpi wees. 'n Skerm het net 72dpi resolusie en dus help dit niks as hy meer as 72 dpi is nie, behalwe as jy hom wil print.

Irfanview... oorspronklike is 1280xsomething, ek gebruik "resize" om kleiner te maak. Maar ek het niks aan die resolusie gedoen nie... ek het vergeet hiervan

Sal probeer om te onthou :D

Wish I could help....the photo was taken by the previous owner.

The shutter must have been open for a number of minutes......if you look carefully the camera picked up the headlamp beam of someone going up the ladder into the rooftop tent!!!!

Ek sukkel met die "upload attachment".
Het die fotos tot ongeveer 20 k compress, maar dit wil nie upload nie.

Help asb!!

Try uploading a slightly larger picture, say 800 x 600 or even 640 x 480 pixel size.

Hi All, I have read all these articles and have re-sized my photos, but still no luck. I can't seem to get it into my signature. Is there some-one who can help me add these 2 photos to my signature? It will be highly appreciated, since I am a bit technology dis-abled.

Mooi so Johannes, die grootste probleem met die file upload is altyd die grootte van die files. Solank dit kleiner as 150kb is behoort hy nie te sukkel nie.

Nog iemand wat hulp soek..om foto's te download. Het foto na 200x150 maar die sisteem time elke keer uit. Het seker al 30 keer probeer.

Irfanview; 800 x 600, pixels reduced to 72 .....

Guys, using Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com, change the size of the picture to a smaller format (800 x 600; 640 x 480) by using the Resize/Resample option under the Image tab, then save it to a new JPG file. You will notice a JPG Quality Box will pop up. Refer the pic below. Select the file size option at the bottom of the choices to around 100kB.
The following picture was reduced from a 1280x960 size to 800x600 using a File Size of 98kB. By clicking on it, you will see more detail.
Remember to install the free Irfanview Plugins as well!

To the webmaster/moderators...

Is it not possible to change the picture upload section to accomodate bulk uploading? On the section where you select the picture to upload, to be able to select 8 pictures all in one go and then upload..

It is a LAS to upload many pictures, especially after a nice GTG... come on you guru's, make a plan
