DCC Training - Two Oceans

A few pictures of the DCC Training attented this weekend in Stellenbosch.
Thank you to Thys and Anton of African Offroad Academy for a very professional presentation.
Something everyone of us must do.It was a great experience.

We went to a gravel road where the instructors demonstrated emergency brakes. :o:

The Two Oceans route runs up the the side of the Helderberg.

We all gathered around for the Stall/Start assesment.

The raod is vissable going up to the lookout point.

THis section can get very tricky when the rocks are lose.We went up there with not much trouble.

Baie nice Jaco. Wie was nog daar vir die training? Ek sien Ciske en Pieter maar wie nog van ons Hilux ouens?

Dit was net ons 3 van die Hilux club.
Die ander 2 ouens, 1 Hilux en 1 Defender.'n Vriend van Anton met 'n Fortuner het saamgery vir die jol.

Also went there on Sunday, with a group of friends(4 vehicles... Madza, Jeep, Toyota and Nissan)... love to view from the top, was a bit disappointed that some of the obstacles have been graded(flat), making them really so easy, nobody battle will any of them! Still a day out 4x4ing is better than a day stuck at home! Found Nugget(Andrew) their too... doing Boomslang wrong way round...

Jaco, dit klink lekker, lyk of julle dit geniet het, goeie report en uitstekende foto's.

Not the most challenging route,but the view is excellent and the strawberrys are the best I had in a long time.

You see now! All that lekker scenery, and we only have flat mielie fields, mine dumps & dust. ;(

Well, we got the weather too, but seems you guys also had it on Saturday.

Guess one day I'll have to relocate to Zilleland, when I'm beeg...!

That would be something to look forward to! *None* of the red wine sent up from the Cape has even actually ever teached me, so it must be good! :mrgreen:
