5000 Member prediction

5000 Member prediction

Our membership currently stands at 4930 and we are soon to reach the grand count of 5000 members. We have something special in store for our 5000th member, but wait, there is more! Predict the correct date and hour that this target will be reached and we have something in store for you as well! (Tip: check out the membership stats to get an idea of when it will be!) There is a catch! You cannot predict an hour if it is already taken. Also, we will set a cut-off date for predictions somewhere as we go along .... you will not know or be warned when that cut-off will happen, so don't wait to post your prediction! (Should make it a little more interesting! :lol: ) Once made, your submission cannot be changed.

It seems that we have all overlooked announcing the prizes .... busy week I guess (for me anyway).

What had been decided was to present the 5000th member, as well as the person who guessed the closest time, with one year free club membership each. If the person who guessed the closest is already a club member then he / she will get the next year free. This was done as a club promotion, reminding those of you who are not members that there is a club attached to the forum (Usernames in blue).

The club is still young with membership currently at 233 members. As such we don't yet have a lot of clout, but we will get there. In the meantime we have been able to secure discounts on certain items from selected suppliers for our club members. Further benefits of belonging to the club are that you are then club affiliated to a club witch in turn is affiliated to the national body of the AAWDC. Through the AAWDC we as a club and individual members have a say and the ability to have an input to the NOW initiative. It seems that we have all overlooked announcing the prizes .... busy week I guess (for me anyway).

What had been decided was to present the 5000th member, as well as the person who guessed the closest time, with one year free club membership each. If the person who guessed the closest is already a club member then he / she will get the next year free. This was done as a club promotion, reminding those of you who are not members that there is a club attached to the forum (Usernames in blue).

The club is still young with membership currently at 233 members. As such we don't yet have a lot of clout, but we will get there. In the meantime we have been able to secure discounts on certain items from selected suppliers for our club members. Further benefits of belonging to the club are that you are then club affiliated to a club witch in turn is affiliated to the national body of the AAWDC. Through the AAWDC we as a club and individual members have a say and the ability to have an input to the NOW initiative.
