Totaal:

Hennie en Everdt ek stel voor julle maak die geld reg met Mark dan kan hy dit vir my gee by die kamp.

Manne, ek moet net vir julle sê dis n ongelooflike mooi dag hier in die Noord Kaap!
Dis wel koud, maar die son skyn helder en hier is geen wind nie.
Hopenlik is die weervoorspelling soos ons munisipale dienste!

Verder wil ek net vir die van julle wat tuis bly laat weet dat, indien dit die Vader se wil is, hierdie RTH on Noordkapenaars se GTG's gaan wees.
Ons beplan om dit n jaarlikse instelling te maak, so Cassie, Danie, Wilko, En natuurlik Riaan, daar gaan verseker weer geleenthede wees om saam met die Hiluxgroep hom aan te pak.

Allan dankie vir die goeie wenke, ons sal dit verseker toepas die kant!
Wat die soetwyn betref, hoop ek 12 bottels Port/Muskadel/Jerepigo/Hanepoot is genoeg!

Ek is kinderlik opgewonde!

Mark en Heinrich, bly om te hoor julle is veilig terug by die huis.

Ek Pieter en JJ is nou in Springbok en eet net gou iets dan vat ons die pad verder na Hondeklip baai en van daaraf sal ons kuslangs ry tot by die huis, sal iewers vannaand langs die see slaap in die Weskus Nationale Park.

Dankie aan almal wat die naweek so n besonderse ervaring gemaak het, ek sal dit beslus weer doen, nou kan ek net nie wag om te sien wat WegRy met ons storie gaan maak nie.

Dankie ook aan Ali en Piet wat ons storie kom dek het en die ervaring saam met ons kon geniet.

To the Gautengers Mark & Heinrich, glad to hear you made it back safely. And yes, last night's braai was an interesting affair without that little grid of yours, not that Piet even realized you were gone.

Wow what an absolutely awesome long weekend... I've finished "cleaning-up" and "unpacking"... and currently I'm downloading some 800 pics + video... about 14.5Gb, give me some time... I'll start uploading pics soon! The video side will take a little longer, few days, as I have to prep the full hd content for web/youtube... just make sure you've all got enough bandwidth!

After everyone arrived, the fire was lit and the kuiering began in earnest... Cobus(Tolla) had us all in stitches the whole evening long... the following morning my cheek muscles were still in spasm!

The humble Viljee's (Die Man van Vleis!) plaas bakkie... this is no ordinary farm variety implement, diffloc agter, LSD voor en 'n 2.4L turbo diesel(3CT) onder die kap!

Ek en Piet wil ook net dankie sê vir die amazing naweek. Dit was 'n GREAT groep manne - kon nie beter nie!

Thanks Kaspaas dat jy alles gereël het en almal in goeie fortified spirits gehou het. Thanks vir Viljee vir die skaap en Lehan vir die hout. Thanks Steve for giving us something to write about!

I can say a lot of things about this weekend, but what impressed me the most, was the way in which this group handled a dangerous recovery. Everybody kept calm and in good spirits, everybody jumped in to help and did the right things. The experience in the group was just evident. I was also impressed with the all round driving skills. I've seen a lot of these kinds of events, and you guys were by a long margin the best.

As dit 'n jaarlikse uitstappie word, is ek volgende jaar weer daar. My vrou wil ook die plek sien!

Now I understand the name, this beast seems to float over the rough terrain... that front suspension is tops! Maar ja... it not like wet rock too very much!

The background rock vocals on the way home was seriously fun! I can't get no satification!

Johannes' 2.7 IFS... theres a few things Johannes made abundantly clear on this trip... no.1 if an SFA can do it, then by @!$#*# an IFS can do it too, with weskus flair(wiel in the lug high 5

) ... no.2 daar is vis in die see op die weskus, no where else, but on the weskus!

... going to have to check this out for myself... no.3 geroekte snoek is flippin lekker...

no.4 Pieter is not from the Vrystaat, cause he can eat snoek like the best weskus klong...

no.5 bokkoms stink and the smell sticks like NASA grade super glue... :problem: no.6 bokkoms stink... no. 7 bokkoms stink... no.8 bokkoms stink... no.9 bokkoms stink... no.10 bokkoms stink... no.11 bokkoms stink... maar dang hulles friggin lekker...

no.12 soon after eating 2 bokkoms you can pee pure salt crystal and down a hole bottle of whiskey to quench your thirst... and lastly... no.12 daai friggin bokkoms stink!
