Is tapatalk only for mobile phones? Or also for laptoppies? And if so what system is our forum running on?

Why would you wanna run Tapatalk on your laptop?

AFAIK it is for phones; my Galaxy S3 picks it up automatically when I connect to the forum. Puts a little android icon on the screen...

I have a Nokia Lumia that uses Windows Phone Ver. 7.5 .... it has Internet Explorer pre-loaded and just out of interest I tried connecting to the forum. It connects and loads but cannot display the page ... it does the same with some other sites I tried. Anyone know why? Do I need some additional software like Tapatalk? :think:

Just asking Stef, with technology these days you could find there is always something to enhance or save on data bundles, etc one never knows until asking :thumbup:

Tapatalk works well on my Galaxy 2 and the Ipad. I have a little Note Book PC, should try it for that, will make it easier to read the forum.

What operating system is the forum running on? Cos tapatalk will ask for that before installing/downloading.

Awesome piece of kit...I'm a die hard Nokia man, but I'm impressed with the S3; the Galaxy range put Samsung right up there. Screen is amazing; Samsung actually supplies Apple with screens for the iPhone...

Makes sense...these kind of apps are normally specifically designed for devices such as phones that doesn't have a lot of screen real estate; makes browsing easier. Also why there are .mobi sites ;-)

Andy, I can't answer your question directly - but I use Opera Mobile (not Mini) on my phone, and connect to the forum without any problems.
