Map for Planning a Botswana Trip

Post by Rollercoaster639 »

Hi All

I am looking for a map to plan a trip to the North of Bots. In this you tube video( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvt6VpKH ... re=related" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) at the start they have a map which I am looking for. Any idea what the maps name is and where I can get it. It seems that all the GPS info is also on the map. Thanks and any help will be appreciated.

Dit lyk soos die Shell Tourist Map van Veronica Roodt. Maar ek mag verkeerd wees.... (die background theme van die spesifieke kaart verander met elke weergawe)..

Hi Barry,
The Tracks4Africa paper map is awesome - I have been using it for our trip up there in a couple of weeks time. Its like a plasticky paper so is quite rugged.

Barry, the T4A Maps are first rate.

Mapstudio also has a great box set with maps for Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique with lots of details.

Hi Barry,

No the T4A doesnt have the co-ords, but I have T4A on my gps and they are on there. Alternatively, get onto google earth, check that the T4A is on the layers, and then get the gps co-ords from there.

When are you going up there? - we leave in three weeks (for four weeks    ), so if you need any more info on our return give me a shout via pm

Cheers
