RFAD - 9 March 2013 - Who is in?

Post by CasKru »

I attended a planning meeting for the Reach for a Dream 4x4 Day they are planning for the 9th of March last night. This is an annual event and it is to raise money for the reach for a dream foundation. We need to get involved.

There will be 10 obstacles and they need 10 teams of 10 vehicles. The obstacles will be handled / marshalled by ORMU. There will be qualified first aiders / paramedics on site as well as a trained recovery team that will deal with recoveries should it be needed. There will be trophy's and prizes up for grabs on the day but the idea of the event is to have fun and raise money for the less fortunate.

The event will be help at McCarthy Rhino Park. Entry fees will be R250 per vehicle.

Please indicate who would like to get involved in which way. Either as participant (making up out team of 10 vehicles - we can make two teams as well) or maybe willing to help in which way.

They are also looking for sponsors for each of the obstacles. Please send me a PM if you are interested or would like to know more about the sponsoring etc.

Not really. All that is standard on your drivetrain is the gearbox and transfercase. Both lockers are after market items.

Vele hande maak ligte werk. Kan enige hulps gebruik en hoef nie noodwendig deel te neem nie.

Maar soos ek verstaan wil hulle die baan so maak dat selfs die ouens met die hardbodies dit kan geniet. So noster behoort heel happy te wees
