new addition
Got tired of the polo vivo not being able to go on a dirt road or over a bump :alvarin: :alvarin: :alvarin: so got the Girlfriend a Terios!!!!
2011 model SWB 4WD with 38 000Km,
Got home and realized when I put the diff lock button on the 4WD was not engaging (stupid I did not check when getting the car!!!!!) the light was not coming on the dash either?
There was also a rattle on the boot.
Yesterday I got the spanner out and adjusted a plate where the latch slides in and rattle gone.
Then checked the fuse for the diff lock, that was okay was then stumped!!! Realised with the cover off the fuse box off I could reach behind the dash to the button and there the problem lay the wire had come unclipped off the button.
So far the GF is happy, likes the ride height and big mirrors just need to SEE WHAT IT CAN DO OFF ROAD!!!!

Re: new addition
It is going to do great, that is its speciality. Just go to Daihatsu and order the off-road coils and fit them. No othe changes are needed. It will give you the extra 50mm lift.dustbuster wrote:have heard what it can do, just need so do the suspension mod and exhaust sometime in the future .

Re: new addition
I have heard they guys say you have to but to tell you the truth. I didn't see the need. I put the coils in (if I remember correctly it was R1400 for the set) and that was it. No monkey monkey business. More than 85k kilos later and still have NO issues with my original shocks. My thought was once they were properly worn I would replace them with the pro comps but seems like I am going to sell it before then.dustbuster wrote:do you need to fit the pro comp shocks?

Bet it wasn't her fault, you bought her the stupid car, if she still had the Polo, nothing would have happened!
