2015 Toyota Hilux Release and Spy Shots

Post by Pora »

2015 Toyota Hilux is one of the leading truck in its class, as evidenced by its popularity and the number of copies sold, for many years around the world. Not only the Hilux, but other Toyota models in all classes for more than 50 years proving that Toyota is one of the leading car manufacturers in the world.

The 2015 Toyota Hilux changes relate to the design of the vehicle and its interior. Much of the credit for these changes belong to Toyota’s Australian, engineering group. These changes are targeted at segments that are really necessary, but surely, Hilux retains its purpose, function, quality and performance.

Improvements are expected in 2015 Toyota Hilux, be sure to refer to the new engine, which would be the trend of the global policy to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Toyota, can certainly fulfill this requirement, and the change is inevitable. It is also expected that the 2015 Hilux offer AWD drive system as standard option on all models. The assumptions are that Toyota will launch in 2015, Toyota Hilux Special Edition. This model, in addition to special equipment packages, should offer their customers a luxurious interior with a combination of leather

Ek hou nie van daai rooi ding nie - mazda look alike... A Lux should look like a bakkie, not a car. Which is why I'm not mad about the Vigo either. SFA, IFS looks like bakkies, something you can WORK with.
You want a kerb-crawler, then that red thing is great.
And AWD - what's that going to do for off-roading? Too much electronics for Africa.... My 2cw... Guess I just like a "manne" bakkie.
I feel a lot less wise at 45 than I did at 15.

Ok, 2nd pic came while I was looking for which buttons to press - looks much better as a proper bakkie.

Took the new Isuzu D/C 4x4 for a test drive yesterday, the gearlever felt like a stick in a pot of glue and if you quick change it, there is so much flex in the drive train that you battle to find the next gear. The motor is as un-responsive as the older generation Isuzu at low revs and it had a too narrow power band for the gearing, but like all Isuzus, it gives a nice soft ride.
So if you want a rubbery bakkie that rides like a marshmellow, buy a new Isuzu, or wait just more than 12 months and buy a new Hilux.

I agree, but I don't like it... This can't be the 4x4 version, can it? It looks to low down and not much ground clearance, no decent approach and departure angles. Looks like the offspring of an Amarok and Ranger! Just my opinion... :naah:
