Wheel balancing question

My bakkies wheels vibrate around 100km/h, I have had the wheels balanced twice, the second time I even noticed that they have put weights on weights, Is that normal??
I do suspect that its an issue with the tyres, my last solution is going to be rotating tyres and leaving the front ones at the back until they are completely worn out.

No tyre is ever perfectly moulded, hence the need for balancing. However they should have been rejected if they were that bad, and if they have been recently fitted, I would go back and ask them to sort out / replace. High speed balancing seems to be required here, and I would also ask that the rims be checked.

There have done probably about 20k km by now, only picked up the problem after I rotated, I will take it to HiQ, where I got them, see if they can sort out, I just found that putting weights on weights doesnt seem like normal practice as well

No, that's not normally done, but if they are difficult to get balanced the fitters sometimes have no option.

It's just speculation, but it seems like they put the worst ones to the back where you would be less likely to pick it up. Now that you've rotated them to the front, the problem is more noticeable.

Seems like it, I will try another place to balance and if still no luck they will spend the rest of their lives at the back

Had the same with the Cooper STT's and went back to Dunlop at the time and they swapped and turned the tyres and sorted out the problem - the normal tyre shops could not sort it out - best of luck

A reputable tyre fitment shop with a proper force balancing machine should be able to sort your problem out if the tyres are within spec, but not specifically matched in position to the rim (which will also have run-out and balance properties)
