Hello at last

Post by RodS »

I joined more than a year ago, but have kept a low profile until now. I am retired and hope to make contact with others who are not tied to the normal holiday / leave cycle, preferably Cape based. Some places it would be nice to have company, such as CKGR just after the school holidays in April next year. Any Takers? Angola and suchlike to follow later.

My Hilux is a 2007 SRX (2.5l) with 90,000 on the clock. She is equipped with Intercooler, Dastek Chip and plenty of other bits and pieces to make her a fully equipped vehicle for serious overlanding.

Hi Rod, welcome back. I love the 2.5 SRX, got into the 4x4 experience with one of those.
Enjoy a busy 4x4 retirement!

Looking good!

I'm looking at retirement myself, but just can't seem to be making any headway in that direction! Enjoy it, and who knows, maybe we can hook up some time further down the line once I've succeeded in making myself dispensable. :D:

Share your experiences here in the meantime. ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
