Wat is die veskil tussen n deep cycle en n semi deep cycle battery

Besides price, deep cycle will take longer to charge, you will get a lot more discharge / re-charge cycles out of it, you cannot use a deep cycle for cranking whereas most of the semi's you can, deep cycle prefers a slower discharge rate.

Look at First National Battery's 102ah "Leisure battery" ... I got very recently at R1200 each with a core deposit (at Battery Centre), admittedly they gave me a 'dealer price'. So far they are working well for me and unless they prove to be problematic down the line, I will get more of the same when I need again. The first hand reports that I got on them were good.
