air suspension: to buy or not to buy?

I have seen and heard of a couple of guy that has replaced their normal suspension with air suspension. Is this a good choice? Where would be the best place to get and install it in the Cape Town area and what would it cost :?: ?

Een van die beste mods wat ek op my wa gedoen het. Doen dit self. Is nie moeilik nie.

Wees baie versigtig.Daardie air suspension kan ek n chassis buig.

Ek sukkel nog om te verstaan hoe die air helpers 'n onderstel kan buig?

Dis nie so erg die air helpers as die pakmaniere nie... as jy baie gewig agter die as laai word baie force uitge-oefen op die pivot point waar die airbag vaskom aan die chassis... Die chassis is nie op daardie punt ontwerp om baie force te hanteer nie... Dis hoe ek dit verstaan...

Het iemand dit al gesien gebeur? Ek weet van die een foto wat die rondte doen. IFS met 'n moerse groot camper op. Maar nêrens wys dit dat die betrokke voertuig helpers ingehad het nie. Ek dink dit sal met of sonder helpers gebuig het.

Klink vir my soos 'n bang maak storie.

In elk geval myne werk lekker. Ek dink Johannes van die see het ook 'n stel in en sy bakkie travel baie en is nog nie krom of skeef nie.

Ek dink ook dat dit meer met gewig plasing te doen het as helpers. Weereens baie dankie
