• Short lecture on the Basics and Safety, discussing issues of urgency, when stuck and tactics of what you intend to do, without going hap hazard and blindly into attack mode. – Injuries (Burns-Lacerations-bee stings etc. in the bush.)
• We then demonstrate the Air Jack, while discussing pro and cons to the use of the bag. (This is done before any driving)
• We use this opportunity to discuss Your past experiences of been stuck. (And so I build on what they have experienced)
• The Hi –Lift Jack then receives its turn to be demonstrated, while once again discussing pros and cons, and more essential the dangers and safety of use.
• We tend to add on again those Experiences You have had issues with, and add Tyres – Deflation, etc. (Equipment related)
• A short 4x4 route with various obstacles, to familiarize and confirm the proficiency of the Drivers we are dealing with lead to Pull and Snatch strap operations. (Demonstration)
• Finally after another more serious, but short obstacle course, we have the opportunity to get our winches operating and demonstrating various uses and combinations that a winch offers. (we use our winch or maybe, You would prefer using Your own winch- checking its performance and operation)
• Straight line pull – Double up (benefits and why) Discuss Safety – Blankets – and other possible winch combinations
• Wind up/Storage and care of winch– and will discuss what amount of power the winch uses vs alternator replenishment (dual battery)
• At this stage we also get You to show what equipment you may have- discussing the value of what You have in Your kit.
• Not forgetting = all the time allowing You to ask as many related questions as need be.

N.B.- You do not need any recovery equipment – I will supply and demonstrate all necessary.

1. We will end the day at around 15h00 – I will light a fire, so bring meat and refreshments for a braai after the training.
2. Bring a camp chair – so you can sit comfortably.
Hot and Sweaty -- Nice if you with a Lady---BAD if you in the Jungle.
