Klippe uit Namibië
Ecc 1:9 Wat gewees het, dit sal daar weer wees; en wat gebeur het, dit sal weer gebeur, en daar is glad niks nuuts onder die son nie.

Yea, Tony, Kind off.
First of all, my dad was a scientist. It is from him that I started collecting stones.
Secondly, I collected it as part of souvenir.
On all my trips of the past I still had all these stones and we are talking from 1987.

All very interesting in their own way. The first pic has a what looks like fossilized footprints of a bird.
The pink stone you lost, was it perhaps rose quartz? I see a small one there in the 4th pic from the top. I have about a dozen or more pieces of rose quartz from there.
Thanks for posting, Hennie!

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
