5 speed conversion on 1980 hilux 4x4 with 3L v6 now 4 speed box,wich 5 speed box would fit with minor changes?and where

hi there ,i have a 1980 hilux single cab 4x4 with 4 speed box and a 3L v6 engine.i want to convert to a 5 speed box,since the revs are much to high.i do not know much about this car and i am also very dummmmm about numbers
and what can be used where.i am also looking for a tailgate,since it has a canopy on it.where can i get spares for this car? im shure someone has done it before.any help would be appreciated.thank you. thunderbox [used to be the name for my 1970 F250 4x4]. also i am not very good with the computer,[pensioner]!!! please vergive me.
