Hilux LN65 Power Door Lock Conversion
Hi all, decided to (attempt) install power door locks in my Hilux. I bought the universal kits that are readily available along with the keyless entry unit.
Anyone have experience using the above unit. I plan on making the install look as factory as possible . So far I tested the units using a 12v battery and all seems to be working well. I have started with the passenger side door and fitted the actuator and wiring. There was almost no space to fit the unit in the door!!
I've had to drill holes on the cab and door to run the cables (door had to be removed!! ). However I used conduit and grommets to make the job neat. Next the drivers side door will get the same treatment.
Following this will wire everything up hoping it will all work well. Any suggestions as where to neatly hide/fit the control units are welcome. Any general advice on installation and wiring of the above will be much appreciated. Thanks!! hilux raider ln65 4x4 s/c

There's a space on top of the heater core behind the cubby hole where you can fit the control units without removing the dash
Happy trails
