4y Float

Post by Scooter »

Morning all, been an extremely long time since I've been on this forum :silent:

I'm hoping someone out there can help me with a float for my 4y Nikki carburettor.

The current one broke in the bowl and of course the stealers don't seem to have any spares for these old vehicles.

I had one when I went the EFI route but gave the Nikki away to someone unfortunately. Consider this an opportunity to convert to an EFI system, you will never regret it, it makes a world of difference to the 4Y performance.

Hey FD long time no type......hope you are doing well?
How's the place at the Vaal? Did it live through the floods, hope so?

RE float, I have thought about EFI and I have just overhauled the original motor and getting ready to do the switch so EFI at the same time would work well.

Anyone out there got EFI bits lying around?

And of course any idea on conversion cost these days?

I see Louis Z is still around and looks like he is the man to ask about EFI?

Uh, yes, I had an EFI manifold but gave that away just before Christmas. Have a chat with Louis Zannoli, he specialises in EFI conversions.

Good to hear from familiar voices on this forum, I miss the old banter and spirit that this forum used to have.
