Fortuner 3.0 D4D Turbo Actuator

Post by Werner »

Hi all,

My Fortuner keeps going in limp mode when I'm doing around 120kmh and then try to pass someone. Giving error p1251.

I have replaced almost all the vacuum lines with silicone pipes.
I replaced all the filters on the vacuum lines (x2).
I replaced the map sensor.
I replaced the actuator valve (the one at the back of the engine).

Replaced all the above and it still goes into limp mode.

This weekend the turbo actuator\stepper motor started making weird noises.
It sounds like something is stuck inside. It keeps making a click noise when started. It also makes a whining noise. (Not sure how to explain the noises better).

I'm looking for a turbo actuator\stepper motor.

Can anybody please help me....I'm at a lost.

Thanks
Werner

Not sure who in Brackenfell is good with Turbos, but I always use Turbozone in Paarl.

Maybe ask Francois from 4xLux who he use for Turbos in Brackenfell.
