Recently visited Witsand Nature Reserve in the Northern Cape. It is very nice to stay here and I can reccommend it for a stay over for 2 days.

Re: NC: Witsand (Brulsand) Nature Reserve
I must just add that 2 days there will be sufficient for me as there is not a hell of a lot to do apart from dune boarding, walking in the dunes and a few other things to do. They do have a few springbok (no not the blue bulls - hehehe) there but that it.
They do have camp sites and some are shaded with communal ablutions. There is a nice conference facility.
O ja and all the rooms do have working air conditioning and the chalets are fully equipped.
The most chalets have a room with d-bed and the other 2 rooms have 2 single beds each. Further it consists of a big shower (separate) toilet and bath with basin.
The living area caters for 6 people and has 6 outdoor chairs and table and 6 indoor seat as well. See attached pics
All in all a very nice place that I can recommend
Some general info:
The dune catchment area supply Witsand Nature reserve and 7 other adjacent farms with water for farming and household use. The water is pumped directly from the dunes without having to be filtered.
They also have 14 different colors sand in the dunes. Last but not least they have the roaring sand or better known as Brulsand. I believe the hotter the sand gets the loader the brul/roar.
