Rudi, I took Bulldog for a service a few months ago and they changed the spark plugs and fitted standard ones. I only noticed this now, and I cannot remember the correct plugs number. Please let me have the plug data if you can, will be much appreciated.

Re: PWM Solar Charge controller and smaller batteries
The Solar Panels cannot "force" amps into the battery, the battery will draw what it requires, so no need to cover any panels. The most important thing to check for is the voltage from the SP array, it should read 12.8-13.8v maximum off-load or on-load.

Re: PWM Solar Charge controller and smaller batteries
As Peter says, there should be no problem, just keep an eye on the voltage that it stays at around 13.8v for a flat battery, then stabilises to around 13.2 - 13.5v for a steady charge and no more than 13.1v for a float charge. The 7A battery will draw what it needs so no problem if the SP can supply...

I looked at the specs for the 1992 Roadtest published by SA4x4 Magazine, the last page states that the vehicle is fitted with 31 x 10.5 x 15 tyres, same size as mine. You should be alright.

Peter, for what its worth, my 1987 SFA has 15" rims, and had the 30" tyres. I fitted Cooper 31" AT tyres and they fit like a charm, speedo is also pretty much spot-on with readings now to. I do have raised OME suspension so there is no clearance problem anywhere. Pretty sure that even...

Thank you for that Software Link Rudi, I never even knew there was one! Re: SFA with EFI mod - struggles to start
Maybe they should just try switching ignition on and off about three times without actually starting it, in order to ensure the fuel pump is fully primed? I do that with mine - admittedly it is not used that often but it starts easily enough after this. Also running a Diktator on a 4Y.
