But an excellent little vehicle nonetheless. Not a real off-roader at all but with fulltime 4x4 (visco couplings) it's extremely capable in soft sand, muddy or gravel roads .... that kind of thing. When it comes to ground clearance and articulation the vehicle is fairly limited but that's not what it was designed for. It's an RV (Recreational Vehicle). It's independent suspension is fairly soft an gives a soft ride like a 'platkar'. For what you describe it should be ideal.ThysdJ wrote:Nice car, if you are a hair-dresser...
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

A mate of mine in Botswana has a SWB. Never did I hear him complain about anything! Always refer to it as his Tuff Toy. Fantastic in sand!
