Ek pomp my bakkie se bande 2 voor en 2.1 agter en hulle loop gelyk af. Ry ook nie te hard nie.

I prefer to stick to the Toyota recomended pressure. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13253" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Remember that you have an SFA which is a lot lighter then the Vigo shape therefore what works for the guys with that shape does not always work for your SFA. Toyota recomend 1.9 bar for a 215 x 75 x 15 tyre so for a 31" x 10.5" x 15" which is almost the same as a 265 x 75 x 15 you will be slightly lower in pressure. Generally the bigger the tyre the lower the pressure.

Just because it says "4WD" doesn't make it an off-road vehicle.

Ek gaan op grondpad af na 1.7 voor en 1.8 agter. Dit gee nogal 'n heel gemaklike rit.

As Mark said, it's a 'hard' tyre .... this because of the thick 3 ply side walls. IMO 2 bar is more than enough on tar unless you are loaded at the back. I would certainly drop it a little for a longer stretch on gravel, about 1.6 ...... rocky terrain about 1 bar and soft sand 0.8 down to 0.6 if there are no sharp bends or side slopes. They don't be-bead that easily unless there are strong lateral forces.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

foor 2.2 en agter 1.8. werk vir my
Foor is harder om bullbar en winch te dra.
Agter is meestal leeg so 1.8 is al wat nodig is.

Re: Correct tyre pressure: BFG 31X10.5x15?
Wow, quite a range. I have had recommendations of 1.2 off road, 1.6 on dirt and 1.8 on tar, but the tar pressure seems low. What are the recommendations for best fuel consumption/tyre wear of BFGs on tar with a loaded vehicle (I can survive a hard ride)?

Re: Correct tyre pressure: BFG 31X10.5x15?
A hard tyre will give better fuel economy because of a lower rolling resistance, but over inflating will cause excessive centre tread wear. As mentioned earlier 2 to 2.2 bar should be fine.
