a dare is a dare .... and even thought there is technically only 3 tickets left I will be paying over R505 for THREE tickets (payment made)

Now ladies in gents on the 4x4 Community forum the number of tickets never gets increased, BUT you can buy tickets from willing sellers - at a premium - with ALL funds going to the cause. Since the 4x4 Community Forum "saved the day", maybe the Hilux clan can follow this example ....

I see Alex bought 11 tickets in total and already put these up for resale at R202 per ticket. My last three tickets are also up for resale (AFTER Alex's tickets have been sold) at R202 each.

ZERO tickets left, officially. :)

BUT, those that still want to add in the fun - Apocalypse (Alex) is selling off some of his tickets, then I also have three tickets for sale.

As tickets are now in short supply it will cost you R202 per ticket ! With the money going the Tymme fund !!

HURRY up, as Eric will be pushing for the draw to get wrapped up - afterall, I want my prices delivered before I set of on holiday .... :)

How's that for a Photo Finish!

You guys are great, simply the best!. It makes no difference what vehicles we drive, we are a community driven by a desire to assist people in need, and you all climbed in when needed. The funds are all 100% going to a very worthy cause and a little girl is going to have a Christmas to remember. Mom is going to breathe a little easier at this joyous (but expensive) time of the year. You guys, all of you from both the Community & Hilux forums are simply True Gentlemen & Ladies!

The final tickets are allocated as such:

Chopper - Tickets 173 & 174.
Alex (Apocalypse) Tickets 178; 186; 188;190
ChrisF Tickets 179; 185; 187; 189

Cassie will update all payments received on Monday and I will shortly post details of the draw.

Actually Val, Tymme & Zayleigh are not actually members, but the accident happened as a result of an unfortunate incident involving one of our members' vehicles, so therefore they count as family! ;)

Right, arrangements have been made for the draw.

This will happen over the period 16 - 18th December due to the fact that a family friend (who is also a Hilux Club member) will be assisting in this as well as taking photos, but is currently in Angola and will only be returning home late December 16th (weather permitting).

We felt it appropriate to involve Tymme & Zayleigh in this and Zayleigh will be drawing the lucky ticket number! Photos and results will be posted as soon as possible thereafter.

This has been an exciting project and it is amazing to see how quickly it moved over the past two days!!

I was in calvinia. Surrounded by white toyotas.

When you drive a red jeep and have a black sabbath T shirt on, it feels like you e walked into a hillbilly horror...

Would have loved to do this but it does remain a raffle as well and transactions etc must be accounted for etc for SARS. So we would rather just create more tickets then reselling already bought tickets at a higher price...

we had an issue with this because some of the guys didn't like their chances been watered down by extra tickets being issued...

and there are rules to that kind of thing too sorry to say!!! believe it or not, about 10 years ago I had to buy a guy a prize for this very reason at a school raffle I donated to. we issued extra tickets and he argued we'd reduced his chances so he wanted his prize. and legally he was right. it was easier to buy him a prize, he wouldnt accept a refund or extra tickets.

lawyer. need I say more.

so anyway - that's why we invented black market trading !!! still 200 tickets, still a 1 in 200 chance for everyone!!! no one loses out, people give away their tickets willingly, people pay an extra donation willingly too!!!!

and no one makes a profit except the charity pot gets bigger !!!

It's easier this way believe me ;D

Careful. It's a lawyer who made the extra donation for your tickets...

But I agree- keep it at 200 tickets and extra money is a donation to the raffle.

Jeeps, it's a raffle, for a good cause, not the lotto with millions. Keep it light.
