Pragtig Theo! Maar eish! .... daai goed kan sommer you finger afbyt!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Bird breeding
Wel gedaan Theo. Ek is nie self 'n voel boer nie maar my oom het met Ringnekke en African Greys geboer en sy hokke was agter in ons erf. Daai is verseker nie die maklikste job op aarde nie.
To God be the glory

Re: Bird breeding
Very nice Theo. I grew up with birds being a big part of my life. My step father used to breed South African wild birds and parrot family. He was a national judge at bird shows in wild birds and parrot sections. He has passed on. I did also keep birds for a few years when I still lived in Natal. I kept mainly love birds and a few ring necks, rosellas and plum heads. It is a great hobby and very relaxing, also has a calming effect and a sense of achievement when ones birds have chicks. Enjoy what you are doing and good luck with the breeding.
