Hi. I would fit BF a/t tyres. Use the same size as you currently have on your vehicle.

Re: Tyres For Fortuner
Hi Natasha,
It depends on whether you ever use your vehicle off-road or not... But I agree with Clint... The BFG A/T are perfect all round off-road and tar tyres, they are'nt the cheapest but when I needed to replace tyres they were recommended to me by the fundi's, and I am very happy with them... ie of course if you take your vehicle off road..

Re: Tyres For Fortuner
BF Goodrich, is a brand of tyre like Dunlop, Good Year etc. A/T stands for all terrain which means they can be driven on tar roads and gravel roads... they have more tread than a standard road tyre for better traction on sand and gravel, but also can be driven on tar roads.. but are just a little bit rougher on tar... BF Goodrich have thicker side walls, so that when you deflate your tyres on sand and gravel roads, you have better traction, but because of thicker sidewalls, they are less likely to get damaged if you scrape them against branches or rocks... so I think your biggest question is whether you intend driving on gravel roads and how often, because I think they are more expensive than Tar road tyres... hope that answers your question..

Nie n sleg prys nie, BFG begin gewoonlik so van R2700 af vir n 31 x 10.5 x 15 grootte band.

Re: Tyres For Fortuner
I see Tyre trader is asking R3000 for a 31 x 10.5 x 15 including fitment. Way to expensive for a tire.

15 inch BFGs are considerably cheaper than 16 inch. Like R1000 a tyre. You go figure.

Re: Tyres For Fortuner
I have done 70 000 km on a set of BFG All Terrain tyres and it looks like I have another 20 000 km of tread left before I need to replace them - that's good enough for me.
When you come to a fork in the road, take it!
