OK then, thanks to Andy's help, I can now properly resize and post pics!
Not only that, I can even crop, adjust brightness / contrast / colour and a whole lot more!
So please forgive me if I go overboard a bit here with my new-found abilities
Yes, I've got plenty pics (thanks to my stellar better half, Viv that took all the photos) . I really dunno what I'd do without her, probably have to go buy my coffee ready made at the local Wimpy. :?
I did say to Andy that there's a lot of duplication to what has already been posted, maybe the only difference between his and mine being that someone is looking the other way or has their eyes closed (if Tony's eyes are closed it's because he's napping!
).
Gathering in Stutterheim. Can't believe that Andy wasn't just on time, he was there before time!
Love the co-incidentally similar stances in this pitcha. Looks like Andy and I are squaring up to each other.
On our way!
The area is covered with little mountain streams and pools. The kids seemed to love drinking from the icy clear water, some of the adults as well.
Every now and then we had to share the narrow roads with forestry vehicles.
Ben coming around a ben d. (Some of us 'went around the bend' a long time ago!
)
If Andy had no hands, he wouldn't be able to talk!
Neither would I !
Many sections were heavily wooded, but the cool shade was a welcome break from the sharp sun.
Fire-marshall look-out. I think his ladder is missing.
More streams.
An edible Kowa (Termitomyces) according to Andy. This one was old and soggy, so we left it. (Would have been nice to add to the breakfast scrambled egg.)
Viv also caught them 'in the act'. I think Ben just enjoys holding on to Sophia and makes an excuse about holding her steady for the shot.
Does anyone know what species there lilac flowers are? They are quite plentiful up there.
At least Ben was chivalrous enough not to send Bokkie in there to get the shot.
