Pics of Forumites pimped / rigged Prados
So here's the thing - I saw a off-road / overlanding rigged out Prado the other day and thought to myself "that looks really cool and nicely pimped out, a real manly man Prado" I'm really keen to do something similar to my Prado and wanna get a few ideas.
It'll be nice to see some pics of the forum members rides and to see what they've done to the vehicles.

I like the std look and don't want to add extra weight with steel bumpers, etc.
2004 VX
Full OME
Airsprings on the rear with compressor
Dual battery system with the 2nd battery in the engine bay
Outback rack with 80w solar and table
Slightly bigger BFG AT's
Really a good comfortable overland vehicle and the v6 is brilliant
Future mods
1. Remove cats
2. Drawer System with water tank
3. Snorkel

Re: Pics of Forumites pimped / rigged Prados
Some time ago I followed the " My Prado Evolved" thread on Ih8mud forum. The series 90/95 Prados were (are?) still available from the Showrooms in Comlombia and this is well worth a read.
This is what his 2008 Model 95 looked like as he bought it brand new:
From those rather mundane looks it evolved into this:
He even fitted a Supercharger...
Read the link! I think the Series 90 Prado is just the sexiest car ever! Wish they still built them here.

I must be with you on this one Eric that is probably the best Prado ever built, and as you say good looking to.

Jaco, I totally agree with you, much prefer the standard look in terms of bumpers. To me it makes the vehicle look like it has a swollen bottom lip
on mine I want to do the suspension, maybe replace the running boards with rock sliders and get a RR. Maybe, just maybe when the tyres need replacing, fit muds.
I absolutely love my V6, also a 2004, it's the perfect All Rounder. I was fortunate to find a low mileage vehicle with the grey interior.
FD, for some reason I cant view the pics you added.

Scott, you might have to register on the Ih8mud forum. I simply linked to the pictures there. Worth doing so, the Series 90 Prados were still being built up to 2009 in Colombia.

Re: Pics of Forumites pimped / rigged Prados
The 90 series Prados just look so damn good! The 120 is acceptable but the newest ones look so damn gross that one is almost ashamed to be seen in one. Don't know what Toyota was thinking with their design.
