I will be able to give a detailed report on the use of the rock sliders after this weekend. They will be used and put through their paces.

Re: Rock sliders for 2005 Hilux vigo shape
Okay the first thing I noticed about them was at speed on a dirt road, I could hear the occasional ping ping sound as stones that were thrown up by the tyres bounced off the Rocksliders which meant that the stones were not getting to the body.
On a certain obstacle the Croozah slid over a wall of rock on its right side (twice) using the Rocksliders as a slide. No bends or even chipped paint to the Sliders.
Swambo is very happy with them too as she can use the Rocksliders as a step to climb up into the vehicle.
I once got the Croozah to sea saw bottom out and they protected the body with no damage to either the sliders nor the Croozah.
My main concern was that they were going to bend and buckle but the Rocksliders held their shape and did their job with the weight of a fully leaden Croozah on top of them.
A product well designed AND made.
