Tyre repairs in Cape Town

Hi guys.

I got this cut in my tyre and need to get it fixed. I heard they can weld a patch on the inside. Does anyone have contact details for someone in Cape Town that can do this?

What do they usually charge for this kind of thing?

If I am not mistaken they call it a mushroom plug. You can go to Tiger wheel and tyre. Hopefully is the cut not to big?.

A guy at Googhope tyres had a look at it for me and said they do some sort of rubber welding a patch to the inside. They dont do it themselves so Im looking for someone that can give me solid advice. Hopefully the wholes no too big.

Arrow tyres in Athlone does it.they situated just before the bus terminus as you come down the bridge.on your left hand side.had mine done years ago. and yes they rubber weld the patch on the inside of the tyre.
