.. eks nuut op die hilux forum en ek moet se daar is n ongelooflike hoeveelheid kennis en " know how " wat die manne deel dis soos n fast reference google vir hilux wat n plesier . Ekt self n 1989 hilux sfa in 1998 aangekoop by n oom in krugersdorp en met my hilux projek begin om n paar dinge te lys ... procomp 9000 4" inch lift kit ... arb lockers voor en agter ... disc brieke agter ... 50mm body lift ... 33 " baja claw radials ... mickey thompson 15 x 10 inch rims ... nudge em bull bar .. arb led spotlight up front .... warne spotlights on top rollbar ... solid propshaft ... bmw front seats .... lexus v8 vvti 4.3 l conversion with lexus management system ... eks basies klaar sal graag die verfwerk wil nuut oordoen om die projek af te sluit ... die hilux is n absolute plesier en het al baie kms oor ons land afgele sal hom ruil vir niks anders nie ...

Om die vraag te antwoord oor die uitlaatpype en die silencer boxes ... ja ekt n pyp aan beide kante wat net voor elke agterwiel uitkom ... ekt 2x silencer boxes aan elke kant en hulle is in lyn agter my sidesteps beide van hulle .... die klank is absoluut onverbeterlik en as ek jou moet vertel hoeveel mense kom vra presies watter v8 in daai bakkie is gan ek moet lieg ekt al ophou tel ... hy raas nie ... hys net duidelik lol ...

Manne om die 2 veagies te antwoord rondom kostes van enjin en tweedens die disc brake conversion .... die bakkie het die oorspronklike lexus management systen in .... maar hyt aanvanklik n redelike primitiewe fusebox ingehad homemade wat goed gewerk het maar namate begin probleme gee met cold starts en ratwisseling om die lexus autobox . My redding was derrick van solid v8 .. hyt my hele harnas oorgedoen en die bussman cooper fusebox opgesit en dit was die einde van enige elektriese management probleme . Derick verkoop die lexus enjins met auto boxe prewired vanaf 17 k kompleet . Ek weet derrick sit hulle ook in ken nie sy pryse nie . Phillip nel van phillip nel performance dynamics in pta sinoville het my enjin ingebou en die bakkie basies herskep soos hy daarstaan .. as jy soos ek is wat nie werklik meganies aangele is nie kan die oefening jou maklik tussen 30 en 40k kos ... as jy soos baie van ons mede forum manne lekker met jou hande kan woeker spaar jy uiteraard geweldig .... jys welkom om my te kontak as jy weer in pretoria is om na die disc brieke te kyk sal lekker wees om te gesels enige tyd . Phillip nel het die disc brake conversion gedoen hys ook van pretoria as jy dalk daar sou wou draai en sien presies wat hy doen en die tegniese aspekte van so conversion

Hi there stef ... do yourself a favour and pop in phillip is a very pleasant chap and gets extremely exited about v8 conversions lol ... but very resourceful .. he is also the guy that builds these monstertrucks and gives shows all over the country ...

Hi daar hans baie geluk met jou sfa .. myne is ook die 1989 dc .... die agterste sitplek is standaard behalwe met leer oorgetrek . Die voorste sitplekke is van n bmw 3 reeks ook met leer oorgetrek ..... om die vragie oor die engine .. dit is die 4.3 liter lexus v8 ..vvti ... presies van watter lexus model is ek werklik nie seker nie eks seker hiers n paar kundige ouens op die forum wat daai vraag vir ons sal kan antwoord ?

Manne help n bietjie ek probeer n vragie hier antwoord ... ek verstaan die 4.3 v8 vvti lexus kom oorspronklik uit die lexus ls 430 .. jaar 2000 tot 2006 en hy lyk as volg
