2.7 IFS electrical problemzzz... Help needed plz - RECTIFIED

Hi guys,

Came back from Zambia a couple of days ago.
Driving in the rain last night , and i suddenly noted not one of electric windows are able to open...
That was just the start...
Next thing i stop at the garage and the following was also not working:
Temp gauge
Fuel gauge
Rev counter
All engine info & warning lights..

I havn't had a days problem with any part of my lux.. So this has come as a bit of a shock...?

Anyone prehaps know of a common relay or fuse that might have contributed to this.... Or have anyone experienced this before on there lux..?

Problem solved...

10A fuse under driver console...(gauge)
Funny that all those systems together work from 1 fuse, especially the electric windows as well...!

Found the source of the problem why it was blowing the fuse..!

Just for info.. The electric window console by the driver's door seems to pick up a bit of corrosion over time, especially liquid damage..!

Opened it up & found the pc board quite corroded. Cleaned all connectors & removed most of the corrosion. So far so good!!
I have had it twice in the past that my rear windows doesn't want to open or close, but in an hour or so it works fine again.

Something so simple can lead to a bit of a headache especially if 90% of your dash electronics suddenly don't work & your problem lies at your electric window console...
