W/Cape Hilux Club Weekend Outing - Die Gatjie 17 - 19 June
All Members of the Western Cape Hilux4x4 Club are invited to a Weekend outing to "Die Gatjie" near Citrusdal on the Weekend of 17 - 19 June 2011.
Those interested for a lekker Camping weekend and two 4x4 trails for the weekend should contact me ASAP. We can only take 12 vehicles so bookings will be accepted on a " first come first serve " basis. Die Gatjie is located near the Town of Citrusdal in the beautiful Cederberg Mountain area and consists of a nice Lapa with ablutions facilities with hot and cold water. We plan to do the mountain trail on Saturday and the river trail, if possible, on Sunday morning. The roads are kept clean with bushes cut and road attended to on a regular basis so vehicle damage is very limited. The trail would be rated between a 2-3 and some places a 4. I have done the trail two weeks ago and can vouch for a very enjoyable outing with the owner accompanying us with a wealth of infomation being shared with all in the group via 29Meg Radios . I can strongly recommend the trail and would like to see some old friends and newbies over the weekend. Please contact me ASAP on my email -louisb@bantamtrailers.co.za for a full program and formal invite . Looking forward to hear from the Hiluxe'rs soon. Regards. Louis Rolbos

Sounds like an interesting venue and a great weekend! Wish I were in the W/Cape.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
