Toyota is recalling more than seven million vehicles worldwide, including some Yaris, Corolla and Camry models, over faulty window switches.

I realy do not see any issues when manufacturers recall products. I would have a bigger problem when they keep quit about it as Toyota tried with the accelerator issue they had.

A car is a complex thing - each little plastic fitting etc has to be designed to fit with everything else... Believe me, I qualified as an industrial designer, and the complexities in something as simple as an electric window switch housing is incredible... So in all the complexity slipups might well occur.
Good on Toyota for having the cohonés to fix their slipup, rather than to sweep it under the rug. Imagine their costs!

Most parts are farmed out to other factories,run mass production,by the time a problem is picked up,millions of parts have gone out the door.
Not just cars recalled,all spares have to be recalled as well from the branches.
Not all those who wander are lost!
