Smart! TCO is just over 100km from here, so it would have been about a 75 minute drive depending on the route taken.

Thanks for all the concern guys. Well took me about 2 hours last night to drop the tank an get to the pump. Found that the electrical plug didnt make propper contact. The new pump i put in over the weekend. Made a plan and it worked. Got home around 2am. When I got in this morning to go to work it was running but NO fuel pressure. I droped the tank again to fit my original pump. Found that the rubber pipe had a cut in so was not pumping correctly. Resaulting in lack of pressure. Put in a new pipe, old pump and fitted the tank again. Just out of curiousity I checked my return line and voila, fuel pumping back into the tank like it should. 2 burds with 1 stone. Thanks again guys. You are all awesome.

Kinda why I opted for an external Bosch pump on the EFi; ease of access.

I was going to go the external pump route but was advised against it all the way... I now atlease have a spare pump which will stay in the car as well as my 12mm socket & ratchet, Wooden block and my bottle jack. I am now a MASTER at removing my petrol tank ALONE in the dark with only a torch.

I shopuld have phoned you, Mark, Shaun, Boet, Andre, Werner, Scorpion and Ernst to come help... We would have had a jol right there next to the road. Everyone just needed to bring a 6pak or 2, torch and camping chair. Next time you must ALL expect a call... Cassie, I would include you in the list but it is a bit of a drive for you.
