Hi
I'm looking into buying a used workhorse bakkie, but can't find any road test on a 4x2 75kW 2.5 D4D single cab bakkie. Regular or Raised body.
Anyone care to share some fuel consumption figures?
Regards

Hi Ben, I had the 2,5 4x4 single cab for 7 years, fuel consumption was about 7.8-9.5km/l and 6-7 km/l when using 4x4 low range. I heard from a lot of people who said they got 10-12 km/l, but that is just hearsay.

Ben,
I had a '09 2.5 Raised body. It gave me 11 - 12km/l on the open road at 125km/h.
I never tested it in town, but was able to do over 700km on a tank of fuel.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Not that the consumption is bad, I had thought it would be slightly better.
