Compressor
You do not always realize what you have until you've used it a couple of times.
I have a 72l/min Moto Quip compressor, I've used it a couple of times but always felt I should have bought a bigger one maybe 96 or 120l/min.
However on Saturday my compressor saw plenty opportunity to inflate a few tyres of different sizes. I walked away much more impressed and satisfied with it. Not going to be looking at larger compressors that much more.

They all get the job done it all depends on how long you are willing to wait
I've got one of these two piston jobies (T-Max) and I can reinflate all my tyres to standard pressure where some can only manage to reinflate one.
I saw at 4x4Megaworld you now get a 160L one.... Mmmhhhh... guess which one I'm getting should my current one pack up

Re: Compressor
Heinrich,
Net soos jy daarso se. Daai units is glad nie sleg nie. Ek self het so 5 jaar terug vir my 'n Volcano gekoop met ek dink 'n 70lt/min flowrate.

Re: Compressor

Something that makes me wonder .... from the cheapies right through to the more expensive / top of the range units, most of them have those damn silly 'screw on' valve attachments rather than the quicker / less hassle clip on attachment. Wonder why? Is it better ... less leakage? Just cheaper to supply? What?

Bought a similar one as Roy posted, but with the nozzle at the front same as you get at the garage inflators. R120 @ Midas.
BUUUTT, when I checked it out quickly yesterday and just connected it as is to the tyre to check the pressure reading compared to my other gauge, I could hear air escaping, and it felt like it was from the valve you push in when pulling the lever. Will do further investigation, possibly user error :)

I have one of those, found it to be more of a hassle than the clip on (during my kart racing days, especially when beading tyres onto rims).
With the one in the pic the rubber hose can be unscrewed from the 'gun'. Just get an aadpter to match wit the Tmax setup Or remove the trigger valve & plug the hole; although, I like to use mine as a deflator as wellOOOOMS wrote:OK tx, thought as much, prob/ not to good then in the long run :wink2:
