Heatwave in the Cape

Post by Hoppy »

Dit was vandag so warm, my hond jaag die buurman se kat, maar altwee stap.

Jees, are you guys really from the cape?? This heat is nothing new for this time of the year. The past few years the weather patterns have changed somewhat, but this hot days are Cape Town weather. I remember when I was younger how plastic stuff used to melt, like in the pics, behind the back seat of my moms beetle.

But some of us were a lot younger then and even used to suntan in that weather.... now its a different ballgame, drive airconditioned vehicles and can't cope with the heat anymore...

We didnt have HOT days, we had fairly windless days... Summerdays are always hot in CT, its just the S/E wind that cools the place down..
