My third attempt at a conversion
Hi all
I bought a land cruiser 80 series with a 3f petrol motor last year and the motor wa sgreat for offroad trails but that was about that getting there was a other story the motor was a bit under powered for the big body at higher speeds and it was thirsty too about 3.5km/l in town
So i decided to fit a 1uzfe vvti motor with the 5 speed auto with spitronics management. And what a improvement!!!!!
There is still some small things to do like cleaning the engine bay and the inside of the cab after all the work thats been done
But heres some pics

Yes i designed and built my own adapter,it is a strait bolt on no modifications to gearbox to make the adapter work, it basicly bolts over the tail piece of the gearbox instead of removing the tail pieceFIRSTGEER wrote:Looks great there Juan.Tell me did you make an adapter between gearob and transfer case ?
