Post by raider »

Hi Gents,

Anyone have experience with the Ironman 4x4 suspension upgrade on an SFA?

Lobiz4x4 has a very good deal on at the moment and its very tempting!

As long as you don't plan on doing any real work with it you'll be fine!

Vigo rear leafsprings will be too long for the front. A common mod is to put the SFA rear leafsprings upfront which pushes the diff 2inches forward(perfect for 33inch tyres or bigger) but you need cross over steering and a dropped spring hanger.

For the rear you use IFS rear leafsprings and 200mm long shackles. I want to put Vigo rear leafsprings in but I will need to move the spring hangers/mounts.
