After this weekend it is clear that this Super 14 competion is wide open. There are some teams that is starting to edge ahaed of the others.This competition is in round 3 of 14 and wide open. There weekeknd seems to be the weekend of upsets:
Crusaders 24 - 30 Hurricanes
Brumbies 16 - 25 Force
Stormers 8 - 14 Blues

Thought the Brumbies and the Crusaiders would be at the top of the log but nou ja .....

Agree with George, Stormers have not fired this year, they are lacklustre! Maybe if the Cheetahs get religated, and the Cheeky Spears get a chance, then Luke can go captain his dad's S14 team, so we can be rid of his negative impact!

I feel sorry for the following Stormers:
Jean de Villiers
Andries Bekker
Schalk Brits

The rest of them, at this point, have been disappointing(even Schalk Burger)! Our tactical kicking has also been anything but a disaster, here I blame Peter Grant, Jantjies, Monti, Bolla and Januarie... to many kicks out on the full and kicks for the 22 missing touch...

I was at a function and thus missed the game so I can not comment. The result speaks for itself.

One comment I must make here is that the Spears will not stand a chance to win a game....... Have a look at where EP/Border rugby is today (nowhere) due to their "policy". If they allow them in this competition I will no longer support S 14 rugby. They will be the laughed at even if they draft the Cheetah players( :shifty: ) to play for them.

Hoekom het Stormers nie voorye nie? ons het afgetjop in elke skrum, en almal weet, as jou vaste 8 swaarkry, dan sukkel die res van jou span. en vir n sukkelende span het ons nie te sleg gevaar nie. Het die blues nie 4 driee teen die Bulle gedruk nie? Kyk Luke het my knorrig gemaak met sy uitlatings, maar die man speel nou sy hart uit, asof hy skaam is en iets wil bewys, so dan moet hy ons maar bewys.

Net so terloops, Gehoor hulle gaan die gras op Nuweland lig , en A4 bladsye uitpak, want die Stormers lyk beter op papier!

Dit was 'n huge anti-klimaks.. Jammer nulletjies, julle kon nie eers die bonuspunt kry vir die 4 driee nie, en julle kon nie die Stormers keer om 'n bonuspunt huis toe te vat nie.... Daai 2 punte gaan nog terugkom en die bulle se sterte knoop, watch this space...

One bonus point and we celebrate... It irks me when I watch a game with friends, and someone chirps 'They really played well even though they lost!'

If they played well then they would have one surely...

I only celebrate a win! Stormers or Springboks! Because a win is a win and lost is plain jane lousy!

Another thing how on earth does this bonus point system work, Crusader didn't score a point in there 0-6 loss to the Highlanders... a bonus point for really just probably defending well... no ways!
