Hello Everyone

Post by Zute »

Hello Everyone, Zute here. Great site, so much useful information. No Hilux at the moment our much loved 93, 2.2, double cab was pinched after it took through Zambia, Namibia and Angola. Hoping to replace it soon maybe with a 98 IFS. All the best Zute

Thanks for the welcome. We will be doing lots of road miles with overland trips to Zambia and Namibia coming up. So figured it would be best to stretch the budget for an an early IFS 4x4 double cab. The 2.7i engine has a strong reputation so either that or a more economic diesel- but there don't seem to be too many of them around.

Hi Zane,
Pic was taken at the beginning of the rainy season in the Lower Zambezi NP in Zambia. We were carrying full load and 5 passengers and sailed through 40km's of mud no problem. Happy days!
Best, Zute
