It is really frustrating, and 9/10 times the insurance was not specified the products stolen so it is a bigger loss. they stole my socket set(Tengtools) a couple a months ago. did not even look like a forced entry. Fibreglass canopies is actually sh&t. but yeah those Shopper do tend to take advantage of this time of year.

Thanks guys, Yes I have discovered that I slipped up and did not have the bike specified or the dual battery setup listed as an accessory on the vehicle so Im not likely to have any joy with the insurance.
I am going to see if I can improve the way the canopy locks, it looks like its dead simple for these guys to force the canopy open.

We had 5 of our vehicles at work broken into in various areas in the Cape Town area(more Northern Suburbs) they push the side window inward and slide it open and take what they want. mostly drills and wires, easy to carry and get rid of.

Wayen, have you got a picture of the bike which may help if someone possibly has seen it around?
Just because it says "4WD" doesn't make it an off-road vehicle.
